Dispute heats up over options for Severn tidal project

As the debate escalates over which technology should be chosen to generate electricity from the power of the tides that run through the Severn estuary, environmental consultants are being drawn into the fray. A feasibility study by Parsons Brinckerhoff for the Department of Energy and Climate Change is accused of unfairly disadvantaging one option.
