WRc consortia win major frameworks to assist DCLG

The building division of the Department of Communities and Local Government has re-appointed WRc as part of consortium with CIRIA, HR Wallingford, BSRIA, MWH Global, Exeter University and Black & Veatch, under a five-year framework agreement to support a review of building regulations pertaining to sanitation and water efficiency and consumption reduction requirements.

DCLG's Planning Directorate has also appointed WRc, together with CIRIA and Royal Haskoning, under a two-year framework to carry out original research to help the department make recommendations for, and deliver major changes to, environmental areas of the planning policy system.
