Job losses at ADAS as consultancy business realigns

The research and advisory group ADAS made 10% of its workforce redundant at the end of 2008, including about 20 staff from its 200-strong environmental division. However, the redundancies were not part of a downsizing operation in reaction to recession, according to environment sales and marketing director Martin Buckland. There are plans to bring staffing levels back to pre-redundancy levels during 2009 by recruiting new staff with skills in areas ADAS has earmarked for growth.
