Golder's UK revenues up 19% in 2008

The British subsidiary of the Canadian environmental services and ground engineering specialist, Golder Associates (UK), has reported a 19% rise in revenue to £23 million in 2008. The figure does not include revenue from the acquisition in July of Rock Mechanics Technology, the geotechnics, mining and rock mechanics consultancy or from the software subsidiary One Touch Data, which was created in the same month. UK managing director Julian Jones said 2008 was "the best ever year" for both the UK business and its international parent. Global revenue in 2008 rose 20% to $991 million.

The UK company was established back in 1973 and employs 285 staff across nine offices.
