Environ files 2007 results, showing 16% turnover growth

Turnover and operating profit were up for Environ UK Ltd in 2007, according newly-available financial results filed at Companies House. Details of the environmental consultancy's financial performance during the year ending 31 December 2007 indicate that revenue grew to £17.7 million from £15.2 million in 2006, representing an increase of 16.4%. Operating profit rose from £76,627 in 2006 to £288,555 in 2007.

Work relating to climate change and carbon management was an important growth area for the consultancy during 2007, according to the annual report. At the end of 2007, Environ UK employed 157 employees.
