AEA results show impact of lower UK gov't spending

Private sector revenue increases despite recession, however surge in US & UK climate and energy spending remains on the horizon

11-Jun-09  AEA Technology has announced increases in both revenue and adjusted operating profits for the year ending 31 March 2009. The environmental consultancy's turnover grew by 16% to reach £93.7 million, but growth is entirely down to the addition of turnover from the US firm PPC - which AEA acquired in August last year - and also from double digit growth in its other international businesses.
