Entec wins SEA contract for new London Plan

The Greater London Authority has asked Entec to conduct an “integrated impact assessment” (IIA) of the new London Plan, which sets the development framework for the capital for the coming twenty years. The goal of the IIA will be to “integrate sustainability considerations ... to help support the most sustainable outcomes for London,” says Entec. The IIA process incorporates requirements of the EU strategic environmental assessment (SEA) directive. This is not Entec's first involvement with the London Plan; it was employed to assess the impacts of the original Plan in 2004.
