Top 500 US firms given 'green' ranking by Newsweek

The environmental policies, performance and reputations of America's 500 largest companies have been named, famed and shamed by high profile news weekly, Newsweek.

22-Sep-09  In Newsweek's inaugural annual green ranking, ten of the 20 firms judged as greenest are from the technology sector, with Hewlett Packard, Dell, Intel and IBM in the top five. Meanwhile, the bottom twenty - featuring those companies judged to be least successful in managing their environmental performance and/or developing green policies - is dominated by utilities.
