MottMac launches carbon cost book

Mott MacDonald has launched what it claims is the "first ever" construction price book to also contain estimated values for carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions of all construction activities.

Commenting on the development, James Fiske, head of Mott MacDonald’s economic research unit said: "Traditionally measured by separate teams, this publication will at last give the industry the ability to produce cost estimates and carbon footprints for design options at speed, with accurate consistency".
