Carbon life-cycle tool for food industry

A consultancy specialising in serving the food industry, Blue Horse Associates, has unveiled a simplified life-cycle management tool to help its clients judge the financial cost, carbon emissions and nutritional profile of “any food product or menu”. Dubbed 'carbonistics', the tool allows the nutritional and financial impacts of changes in the carbon emission profile of a food product to be easily assessed, says Blue Horse.
