LUC wins Natural England landscape guidance contract
20-Oct-09Land Use Consultants (LUC) has again been commissioned by Natural England and Scottish Natural Heritage to revise the landscape character assessment guidance for England and Scotland.
Also, an LUC report on how climate change adaptation measures might effect London's biodiversity has recently been published. Commissioned by the London Climate Change Partnership, Natural England, London Biodiversity Partnership, the London Development Agency and the Greater London Authority, tge report calls for urban greening, sensitive river restoration and flood storage schemes.
Founded in 1966 by former head of the Nature Conservancy Council Max Nicholson, LUC boasts an annual turnover of £7 million, employs more than 100 and has offices in London, Bristol, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
