Enviros makes senior water & climate change app'ts

The appointment of two senior consultants has been announced by Enviros, which was recently purchased by Australia-based, engineering-led consultancy Sinclair Knight Merz. Paul Akehurst has been named technical director within Enviros' climate change and renewables team, having previously worked as associate director with Entec UK, leading its energy consulting division. The second appointment is of Phil Aldous, who will be Enviros' water consultancy director, charged with building Enviros' presence in the UK water consultancy market. Aldous worked for Thames Water for 20 years, the last three of which as head of environment and quality regulation.
