Marine environmental sector steams ahead

Marine-based environmental consultancy is not a new field, having originally developed primarily to serve the needs of a rapidly-expanding offshore oil and gas sector during the 1970s and 1980s, and later being driven by the water and wastewater industry’s efforts to comply with new environmental standards set out in legislation such as the EU bathing water and shellfish directives.
