MottMac director awarded chair at Northumbria University

A technical director with the consultancy Mott MacDonald has been appointed “enterprise chair in sustainability” by the Northumbria University school of the built environment. Gordon Hudson will work one day a week at the university's sustainable cities research institute in the new position, which has been sponsored by Mott MacDonald. Commenting on his appointment, Hudson said: “This is an exciting opportunity to bring industry and academia together in a working partnership that has the potential to directly impact on the way sustainability issues are ingrained in our planning, construction and development both now and in the future.”
