Scott Wilson confirmed as takeover target

Multidisciplinary consultancy Scott Wilson has confirmed that it has received more than one approach about a possible takeover, although it has not yet received a formal bid from any of the interested parties. Environment Analyst's latest annual analysis of the UK environmental consultancy market ranks Scott Wilson as the sector's fifteenth largest player, judging its annual UK environmental consulting revenue to be just over £25 million and its market share to have increased slightly during 2009. Trends in Scott Wilson's share price during the first five months of 2010 are compared to share price trends of other major players, including Hyder, RPS and WSP, in the latest edition of Environment Analyst Market Briefing.
