Profit fell more sharply than revenue

31-Aug-11  Financial accounts detailing the performance of Jacobs Engineering UK Limited during the year ending 30 September 2010 have recently become available. These demonstrate clearly the impact of economic volatility and recession, with revenue falling by 20%, operating profit down by 49%, and post-tax profit plummeting by 98.7%. Headline figures for 2009/10 include revenue of £561.4 million, compared to £704.4 million the previous year....
