SKM Enviros was created through the international engineering consultancy Sinclair Knight Mertz's acquisition of Enviros in October 2009. In the last three years, Enviros has been bought and sold a total of three three times. SKM has acted quickly to fully integrate Enviros (>330 staff) with its own (c30-strong) environmental business in the UK. The merged entity is trading as SKM Enviros throughout the EMEA region. Through Enviros' own 1997 acquisition of Aspinwall & Co – one of the original founders of UK environmental consultancy in the early 1970s – the group has over three decades of experience in the sector, developing significant capabilities in climate change & energy and waste management advisory services.
