URS achieves substantial growth in Q3 2008

The US-based group's revenues jumped 104% and net income increased by 70% over the third quarter in 2007, assisted by higher performance-based fees and incentives on various projects, including $17.7 million of pre-tax earnings on the Department of Energy nuclear waste processing facility project (see EA Newslink, 1 November 2008).
