We are working with an award winning global multinational consultancy to appoint a Regional Director for the Geoenvironmental Business Unit.

Role outline:

Following growth demands and expanding opportunities, our client is now looking to invest in sustainable growth. This role will provide successful candidates with the opportunity to help facilitate this growth, through the securement of major new client portfolios and development of growth plans for the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably experienced individual, recognised as a market leader within the Geo-environmental sector.

Skills:

The successful candidate will;

• Be technically accomplished in the geo-environment profession

• Have demonstrable experience in the redevelopment of brownfield land, the assessment and management of contaminated liabilities and geotechnical engineering.

• Have exceptional personal skills in team leadership, financial performance monitoring and control, time management, all forms of communication, business development and client care.

• Have a highly successful track record in developing, winning and delivering new consultancy work.

Qualifications:

• Minimum good first degree

• Ideally a higher level second degree (MSc/PhD)

• Chartered status of an appropriate professional body

• Full driving licence is essential.

Experience

You will have;

• An outstanding personal reputation in the market place

• Extensive senior management experience in high profile environmental consultancy or a similar role with a major organisation involved in contaminated land, regeneration/remediation projects within the UK

• Highly successful track record in commercial delivery and development, team building and leadership, client care and project delivery.

• Geographical knowledge and a network of business contacts specifically within the City and SE region.
