Over the summer of 2009, we analysed the records of 22,000 recent candidates on the books at recruitment consultant Allen & York and we conducted a separate in depth survey of 2,500 UK environmental professionals. The two exercises provide the most accurate record to date of average real salaries across the environmental services industries, together with a snapshot of how the environmental industry is coping with the recession and the current state of the environmental profession.

The Employers' Edition contains extensive information from the online survey and the analysis of Allen & York’s candidate data, including:

  • Salaries by position and type of organisation
