Agency urges power firms to "be ready" for biomass...

Electricity generators should publicly report the greenhouse gas emissions from producing, transporting and using biomass fuels and be ready to set minimum standards if required, the Environment Agency says in a new report based on research by AEA. It also urges the Government to provide greater incentives for combined heat and power than for electricity only plant, through the proposed renewable heat incentive.
