Arcadis wins European enviro services framework from ExxonMobil

Dutch-based consultancy Arcadis has signed a five-year framework agreement with Esso Beligum, a division of ExxonMobil, paving the way for it to provide environmental services in ten European nations. Many of the services covered by the agreement relate to the investigation, risk assessment and remediation of contaminated land at Esso-owned sites, including retail petrol stations, refineries, chemical plants and other production and distribution facilities. Commenting on the deal, Arcadis' Michiel Jaski said: "This important multi-country agreement will potentially generate a substantial amount of work for Arcadis. We were selected by ExxonMobil based on our ability to deliver services in different geographies, our strong technical capabilities and our performance and commitment in the area of health and safety". The countries covered by the agreement are: Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxemburg, France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Austria, Ireland and Switzerland.
