Sweco appoints new manager for China business

Swedish consultancy Sweco has appointed Mark Ryberg as its new manager for operations in China. The consultancy currently has two major projects in China and Ryberg's task is to manage these and “develop business activities and partnerships with local companies”. The appointment is part of Sweco's “long-term strategy” to increase the volume of work it does in China, particularly in the field of sustainable urban development. Ryberg was previously regional manager for Sweco's Malmö architectural practice and has been a key figure driving Sweco's work in China.
