WYG expands in South Africa, Croatia and Bosnia &...

New subsidiaries have been registered in South Africa and Croatia by WYG. In addition, an office has been opened in Sarajevo to serve clients across Bosnia and Herzegovina. The consultancy says that its recent restructuring has allowed it to offer clients in more than 40 countries its “full range” of specialist services. Having struggled to manage its significant debt load, and eventually reaching an agreement with lenders to exchange debt for equity, WYG's new corporate structure focuses on four main business lines: buildings & critical infrastructure; transport solutions; energy & sustainability; and risk & assurance services. Overseas revenue is growing at approximately 20%, says WYG, and it is a market leader in “for socio-economic services to the European Commission on infrastructure programmes”.
