The team specialises in environmental permitting, EIA / SEA and environmental engineering studies for marine industries (eg, oil and gas, marine renewable and offshore cables).  The role will consist of a mix of office duties and client facing activities, involving occasional unconventional working hours dependent on project and business needs.

The successful applicant will have:-

• BSc in relevant science or environment subject (ideally including a marine aspect).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing.
• High level of numeracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to multi task and possess good time management skills.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft office packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Fluency in English.

In addition, any of the following skills would be desirable:-

• Knowledge of UK Environmental Legislation.
• Knowledge of one or more marine sector (oil & gas, marine cables, renewables).
• Knowledge of marine survey techniques and assessment methods for evaluating impacts on marine receptors.
• Experience in client facing role.
• Experience engaging with stakeholders.
