In this role, you will work on exciting projects, assessing water quality impacts from a range of developments and discharges.  Our team is recognized as one of the UK’s leading developers of hydrodynamic and hydrological models and as providers of water quality modelling solutions.  Your clients will include blue chip companies from the water, renewable energy, ports & harbours and oil & gas sectors and your solutions will make a real difference to people’s lives.

You will have an inquisitive numerical mind and be enthused by the opportunity to build and apply numerical models of physical environments and test solutions against regulatory standards.  From this, you will be able to build up scientific method and argument to address a complex regulator landscape.  You should enjoy working with other gifted individuals and be excited by the prospect of developing practical leading-edge solutions.

Essential requirements for the role are:-

• Degree in a relevant science
• Experience requirements range from graduate to 5+ years
• Hydrodynamic and/or hydrological modelling
• Understanding of aquatic water quality
• Fluency in English

Additional desirable skills will be:

• MSc or PhD in relevant science
• Programming skills (e.g. Matlab, VBA, Fortran)
• Strong academic and business network
