We currently have permanent full time vacancies for graduates and post graduates with a passion for improving the quality of our aquatic environments (e.g. seas, coasts, rivers, lakes and reservoirs).  Positions are available in Liphook (Hampshire), Cardiff and Dundee.

In this role, you will work on exciting projects, assessing the behavior of, and impacts on, aquatic environments.  Our team is recognized as one of the UK’s leading developers of models of aquatic environments and as providers of water quality solutions.  Your clients will include blue chip companies from the water, renewable energy, ports & harbours and oil & gas sectors and your solutions will make a real difference to people’s lives.        

You will be highly numerate, have an inquisitive mind and be enthused by the opportunity to quantify environmental impacts and test these against regulatory standards.  You will be able build scientific argument to address complex real world challenges.  You should enjoy working in a cohesive team with other gifted individuals and be excited by the prospect of developing practical and quantified leading-edge solutions.

Essential requirements for the role are:-

• Degree in science, engineering, mathematics or geography
• High degree of numeracy
• Desire to quantify the physical world
• Strong data analysis skills
• Fluency in English

Additional desirable skills will be:

• MSc or PhD in relevant discipline
• Programming skills (e.g. Matlab, VBA, Fortran)
• Passion for aquatic environments and environmental issues
