Metocean Modeller

We are looking to expand our modelling team as part of our growing commitment to our metocean services portfolio and therefore wish to recruit a metocean modeller.  The role will include the construction, operation and analysis of numerical models (primarily Delft3D and Mike) and the development of analytical tools to support the continual technical development of our metocean services. Duties will also include production of technical reports, managing projects, marketing activities and assisting with bid preparation, liaising with clients, and contributing to research.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, have a degree in Oceanography or other marine related science subject (or equivalent experience) be highly numerate, have strong analytical skills and be able to interpret their work for various clients. Technical skills and expertise in at least one area of waves, tides or sediment dynamics is expected.  Additionally, candidates with MATLAB (or similar) experience and/or previous experience in conducting metocean design criteria/operation studies are particularly welcome.
