Consultant, Physical Process Team

We are seeking a bright and enthusiastic consultant to join our successful Physical Process Team.  This technical role involves the collation, analysis and interpretation of coastal and marine process and modelling data, enabling the provision of sound scientific advice to clients across the breadth of marine sectors.  You will be working closely with our numerical modelling and environment teams as well as liaising with clients and stakeholders to deliver our portfolio of exciting projects in the UK and overseas.

Relevant skills and experience:

  • Educated to Masters degree, or higher, in a marine or coastal discipline;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Relevant consultancy experience preferred;
  • A good knowledge of coastal and marine physical processes with the ability to apply your understanding to deliver project objectives;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with colleagues and clients; and
  • Must also have a strong desire to develop and improve your own skills, be highly motivated and proactive, with a ‘can-do' attitude.
