The Ecology Consultancy was established in 1999 and is now one of the largest and most successful consultancies in the country. We are managed by ecologists, are passionate about what we do and pride ourselves on the quality of our work, our engagement with clients and our ability to influence design, benefit biodiversity and improve communities.

We have a relaxed company character with a friendly and supporting working environment. Our focus on investment in people and business responsibility has seen continual annual growth. We compete and succeed at all levels of the market, from managing small local developments to acting as lead consultants on nationally significant infrastructure projects. We aim to match our ambition with positive actions and have recently opened two new offices, developed a career development and training programme, overhauled our management processes to improve their interface for ecologists, secured lead roles on long-term projects including Crossrail 2, and have continued our management roles with HS2 and DP World.
