Ricardo is positioning itself for Northern Powerhouse contracts by holding a free workshop on the integration of resilience and sustainability into transport and utility projects. The event will be held at the firm’s new office at the Bright Building in Manchester Science Park on 22 February.
The firm is hoping to attract executives, planners, investors, engineers and scientists from major water, transport and energy companies, alongside local authorities and other stakeholders and developers. The firm will offer workshops led by its environment, energy, sustainable transport and climate change teams.
Ricardo Water & Environment practice director Daressa Frodsham said: "Our new Manchester office houses Ricardo’s diverse teams from across the sustainable development arena and is the perfect base to host the workshop. I hope attendees will benefit from the opportunity to find out how cross industry technology transfer can unlock innovative ways to future-proof their organisations and projects."
