Professional services provider and consultancy GHD has strengthened its GHD Digital arm - launched earlier this year (EA 27-Feb-18) - with the appointment of six senior executives in Australia and Asia-Pacific.
GHD group CEO Ashley Wright said: "We operate in an environment where the power of technology is advancing at an astonishing rate. Regardless of business size or industry, digital transformation is vital. Our vision is to be the leader in both delivering digital services to clients and using digital technologies to improve our own operations."
GHD global digital leader Kumar Parakala added: "GHD Digital is progressively launching in key geographies across the globe and establishing key partnerships to provide holistic digital transformation solutions to clients. With the launch of Australia and APAC, the digital team has expanded to more than 100 people locally in 12 months, with more growth to come."
He added: "We’re working with clients to demystify the challenges of digital disruption; helping them to address key risks and opportunities presented by the fourth industrial revolution and engage with the digital ecosystem to identify competitors before they disrupt. It also means being able to support the GHD network of more than 9,000 employees to better service their clients by drawing on the resources and expertise of GHD Digital."
Parakala recently spoke to EA on how GHD has embraced, and is incorporating, new digital technologies within its own organisation as well as the challenges facing its clients in this respect (EA 26-Mar-18).
