Dallas-headquartered environmental services provider Trinity Consultants has acquired chemical risk and advisory consultancy The Redstone Group for an undisclosed fee. The 20-strong, Dublin, Ohio-headquartered Redstone offers chemical, environmental toxicology, biological, engineering, animal health, legal and environmental consulting advisory services in the US and Europe.
Redstone has developed a core business offering compliance and registration for the European Union’s REACH regulations, the Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS); the US Toxic Substances Control Act and other international chemical control laws.
Founded in 2004 by former environmental, health and safety executives from the chemical industry Mark Vagasky and Glenn Hammer, Redstone has also developed experience supporting client EHS initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, permitting and auditing. While Hammer has since retired, Vagasky will remain on the board in a leadership position as the firm is integrated with Trinity’s environmental consulting and life sciences practice.
Trinity’s director of business development/corporate development Paul Greywall said: "Redstone's expertise in chemical risk management and reporting dovetails nicely with Trinity's environmental and life sciences focus. We have great respect for the business built by Mark and his team, and look forward to working together in expanding it further."
The announcement comes just over a year since Trinity’s last acquisition; air quality consultancy QSEM Solutions at the end of 2017 (EA 15-Dec-17).
