Multidisciplinary consultancy Waterman Group has been appointed to a housing consultancy services framework covering south west England and Wales, which will see the firm provide a range of engineering and environmental support services.

The four-year framework is run by central purchasing body LHC and can be accessed by local housing associations, registered social landlords, local authorities, schools and colleges. Under the framework Waterman will provide a variety of environmental services including: ecology, geotechnical surveys, highway & drainage design, acoustic consultancy, landscape and archaeological advice.

Richard Stockwell, Waterman’s director for infrastructure & environment in the south west said: "Our appointment is an important step to obtaining local public sector work and will allow us to build on our existing track record in residential developments. We look forward to working with clients through this framework to help meet the community housing needs of the south west and Wales."

The appointment follows a series of framework and public sector contract wins for Waterman earlier this year (EA 07-Jan-19).
