Greengage Environmental Ltd. is an environmental and sustainability consultancy and our discipline is based on a deep understanding of the built, natural and social environment. We have extensive experience in facilitating the delivery of truly sustainable developments, taking a holistic approach to design development. We work in partnership with our clients and we believe our approach is innovative, cost effective and no nonsense.

The team have a wide range of experience providing consultation and advice on integrating sustainability into the built form, through corporate strategies, sustainable building performance, green infrastructure, and environmental assessment.

We have been established for over 12 years and we work with a wide range of clients and projects and are involved in key regeneration and strategic projects across the UK.
We are a growing team and are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to help support the delivery of the sustainability services for the company.

Position – Sustainability Consultant

We are currently looking for a consultant with 1-3 years’ experience to join the sustainability advisory team in Greengage Environmental. We require somebody who is flexible, has good numerical and organisational skills to provide support on, BREEAM, Home Quality Mark (HQM), SKA, LEED, WELL, energy and sustainability assessments.

In addition, experience in one or more of the following fields would be advantageous:

  • Energy modelling
  • Embodied carbon assessment
  • Socio-economic assessment
  • EIA experience
  • Environmental modelling incl. daylight and overshadowing
  • Corporate Social Responsibility

Consultancy experience working with property and development clients is a strong advantage and there is also an opportunity to provide support for other sustainability initiatives and client facing roles.

Good communication and analytical skills will be essential, as will be the ability to write technical environmental reports and to manage assessment projects.
