A27 Arundel Bypass threatens ancient Binsted Wood
Highways England’s consultation into the preferred route for the A27 Arundel Bypass has been subject to protests from a local neighbourhood committee because of its impact on “historic” ancient woodland. Two of the route options (3 and 5a) will impact the 250-acre Binsted Wood of ash and oak woodland with major adverse impacts expected.
