This vacancy is for a Senior Hydrogeologist based in our London Office. This is a full time, permanent position.

Core Responsibilities will include the following:

• Project management of contaminated land assessment and related projects;
• Hydrogeological conceptualization and assessment;
• Detailed quantitative controlled waters risk assessment and modelling;
• Assist with providing technical oversight to risk assessment projects delivered from our UK offices;
• Promote high technical quality across the project team;
• Business development and winning work including prospect identification and proposal generation.
• Line manage, mentor and train junior staff;
• Liaise with and support key clients; and
• Manage the HSSE culture of a project, both client-facing and internally.

Essential Experience:

• Detailed controlled waters risk assessment and modelling experience;
• Strong track record in the project management and delivery of high quality contaminated land and hydrogeological assessment projects;
• Complex hydrogeological site conceptualization, contaminant fate and transport, development of site conceptual models, understanding/implementation of groundwater remediation technologies;
• Ability to write clear, concise reports and think logically and clearly;
• Ability to lead the HSSE culture of a project;
• Ability to build effective working relationships with clients, colleagues and contractors;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; and
• IT skills – MS Office suite, hydrogeological modelling applications.

Qualifications:

• Candidates should have a Masters degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Hydrogeology, Geochemistry, Environmental Science, Applied Environmental Geology).
