Role Overview

We are working with a highly respected multidisciplinary design and consultancy business. They provide high quality of services across a diverse range of sectors including the retail, commercial, rural and residential markets.

They have an established planning team and are looking to strengthen this group.

You will get the opportunity to take projects through from inception to completion and they are therefore looking for someone with experience in a range of activities associated with the planning process including:

• policy and planning research,
• preparing planning applications,
• design and access statements,
• planning statements,
• contributions to the EIA process.

Person Requirements

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• A range of experience and the capability / interest in working with clients on projects from inception to completion.
• At least 3 years’ experience in the planning sector (private or public sector)
• Relevant academic and professional qualifications, ideally including Chartered Status at Senior level.
• Able to design and deliver effective and creative solutions to support clients’ objectives.
• Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively both internally with colleagues and externally with clients and other parties.
• Strong analytical and IT skills.
