Jacobs acquires US firm strong in water & wastewater...

A 500-strong “professional services” company based in Atlanta, Georgia, Jordan Jones and Goulding (JJG), has been acquired by engineering giant Jacobs. With 17 offices in the southern USA, JJG’s services include a full range of water and wastewater services, transportation planning, environmental compliance consultancy, ecological services relating to wetlands, and impact assessment. Commenting on the acquisition, Jacobs chief executive Craig Martin said: "JJG has a very talented team. Their expertise in water infrastructure is not only a great complement to Jacobs strengths, but it also positions us for growth."
