Jacobs awarded AMP5 contract from United Utilities

United Utilities has awarded Jacobs Engineering a place on one of its fifth asset management programme (AMP5) framework contracts for the period 2010-2015. The contract will see Jacobs provide “multi-discipline engineering services to undertake the identification and design of new water, wastewater and sludge treatment and network facilities, or modifications to existing treatment and network facilities”. Commenting, Jacobs pointed to its successful delivery over the last three years of a series of projects for United Utilities, including a pipeline linking Liverpool and Manchester. Jacobs is also working for South East Water during AMP5.
