WYG to provide sustainability services for Hartlepool schools refurb

White Young Green (WYG) will provide civil and structural, mechanical and electrical, BREEAM (BRE Environmental Assessment Method) and sustainability design services for a £95 million project to refurbish six secondary schools in Hartlepool. WYG is part of a team led by Balfour Beatty, which was recently awarded preferred bidder status for the project, which is part of the UK government's building schools for the future (BSF) investment programme. BSF aims to rebuild or renew nearly every secondary school in England within the next 15 years.
