Royal Haskoning wins Afghan water resources contract

The Dutch Embassy in the Afghan capital Kabul has chosen a consortium led by consultancy Royal Haskoning to study the current state of water resource management in the arid province of Uruzgan and to develop a strategy for improvements. Results of the study will be presented at the end of the year. Royal Haskoning staff will work with local experts and NGOs active in Afghanistan as well as with Dutch research institute Deltares, Delft University of Technology, and the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers.
