ABPmer appoints new head of modelling

Specialist marine environment consultancy, ABPmer, has announced the appointment of Jon Williams as its new head of modelling. Previously employed by the University of Plymouth as a professor of sediment dynamics, Williams' research has included work on coastal evolution, coastal storm impacts and coastal flooding. ABPmer expects Williams' appointment to help “enhance” its offering to the offshore sector. ABPmer managing director, Bill Cooper, commented: His appointment affirms our continued growth in offshore services including offshore wind, marine aggregates, cable and pipeline studies. We expect him to provide a strong link between our natural processes and modelling teams and that he will also provide valuable input to ABPmer’s research and development strategy.”
