Arcadis awarded share of $42m Brazilian water engineering contract

Arcadis Brazilian subsidiary Logos, in partnership with a local firm, has signed a water management contract with the Brazilian Ministry of National Integration for the implementation of the Sao Francisco river integration project. Arcadis Logos has a 50% share of the $42 million contract, which aims to reduce chronic water shortages in northeast Brazil by constructing two channels, aqueducts, tunnels and reservoirs.
