Members participate in working groups, roundtables and panel discussions, which sit alongside our flagship business summits in cities including London, Edinburgh and Chicago.

Ideally a graduate with 1-2 years’ experience in conference or events production, in this role you will be responsible for delivering a 365 programme of member and community engagement, producing content for different types of events, including online and face-to-face conferences, webinars and roundtables, as well as running working groups in collaboration with our analyst team. You will need excellent research, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage several projects at once within strict timelines, maintaining strong attention to detail. Strong communication and people skills are also essential, and you must be comfortable speaking and networking with senior business executives both in the UK and internationally.

Key Tasks include:

  • Conducting desk and telephone research to identify new topics and expert speakers
  • Identifying relevant members / attendees for each event
  • Recruiting speakers and working with them to ensure good quality, relevant content
  • Managing event and community content schedules, ensuring a regular programme of member engagement
  • Liaison with sponsors to ensure events meet their objectives
  • Coordinating member forums and working groups to ensure activities are delivered on time and with good member participation.

Key Skill Requirements

  • Extensive desk and telephone research skills, grasping both strategic drivers and more technical detail, developing these into customer-focused, engaging events.
  • Strong written skills to turn research topics into clear, relevant, benefit-driven programmes and marketing copy
  • Highly organised and self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects to strict deadlines
  • Professional, friendly and articulate communicator, you must be comfortable speaking with senior-level business executives both on the ‘phone and face-to-face

Reporting to our Events & Community Director, you will work alongside colleagues in marketing, sales, editorial and data analysis roles. Please note that this role does not involve event management, venue liaison or logistics.
