2009 Environmental Professionals Career and Salary Survey
November 2009: In collaboration with recruitment consultant Allen & York, we have launched a report showing that average salaries rose by 3.1% among green collar professionals in the UK. Julian Rose, Publisher, has extensive experience in environmental business affairs, including a 10-year stint as Editor of The ENDS Report. In the 1990s he held positions with the Environmental Services Association in the UK and as European correspondent for Environmental Science & Technology. Julian is also Publisher of Chemical Watch, a sister to Environment Analyst focusing on chemicals management and control.
Liz Trew, Editor (Market Intelligence Service), is a respected commentator on the UK environmental sector, with particular expertise in the environmental consulting market thanks to her previous role as Editor of the ENDS Environmental Consultancy Market Analysis/Guide and Consultancy Bulletin. Liz also held the position of Editor/Market Analyst at Nicholas Hall & Co, a publishing and consultancy firm serving the pharmaceutical industry.-
Erin Gill, Editor (Environment Analyst Market Briefing), has reported on the environmental sector for many years, including roles with Environment Business, Edie, ENDS Europe Daily and Contaminated Land Management.
Geraint Roberts, Policy Editor, was previously Associate Editor atThe ENDS Report. He has reported on environmental policy and issues across a wide range of business sectors, including chemicals and waste management.-
Stuart Foxon, Business Development Director, researched the first UK environmental consultancy market report in 1992, and then managed ENDS’ directory and market intelligence operations for thirteen years. Between 2005-2008, Stuart managed the market research team at food, beverage and environmental consultancy, Zenith International. -
June Meagher, Sales and Marketing Manager, has a background in marketing, PR, sales and customer service within publishing, music, arts and property management environments. June has worked for Virgin, Cap Gemini and EFM Asset Management. -
Lorna Madeley, Sales and Marketing Executive, has a background in event organising, sales and customer service within the travel and training industries, including Simply Travel, Eastern Leadership Centre and Cambridgeshire County Council.
