Environment Analyst has an exciting opportunity for a journalist to write across two titles. Brownfield Briefing is the long established market leader covering policy, planning, regeneration and regions and land issues and an exciting time for the industry in a time of rapid change and development. Besides the website, there is a monthly print publication and a twice-yearly supplement.

Environment Onsite is web-based and covers flooding, contaminated land, ecology, infrastructure and planning and sustainable building, and there are exciting plans to grow and develop these areas.

You will need to be based in south-east England but we are open to a mix of office and home-working.

The successful candidate:

• Will be in his or her second or third job in journalism
• Have a Journalist qualification
• Be a team player
• Ability to work on his or her own
• Ability to cut through hype and grasp policy, technical and scientific issues

The post is mainly news writing, but there will be opportunities to write features.

Production (In-Design) and multi-media training an advantage; background and or interest in environment/ built environment also an advantage.

As well as news publishing, Environment Analyst produces a range of conferences, awards, webinars and market reports in the environmental management field.
