Details

The role will comprise technical and financial management of projects, business development, liaising with regulators and contributing to the on-going development of the team. An excellent knowledge of relevant National Guidance and EU Codes (such as Eurocode 7) is essential. The candidate will need to have gained experience in designing and co-ordinating geotechnical investigations that may also be combined with environmental investigation. Having a working knowledge of contaminated land assessment is advantageous but not essential for this role. Experience in preparing factual and interpretative reports including detailed recommendations, calculations and foundation design is also required. The successful candidate will be expected to peer review reports and take an active role in the continuing improvements and quality of the report being prepared.

The candidate is expected to have at least 8 years’ experience working as a geotechnical professional. A university degree in a relevant geotechnical or engineering based subject is required as a minimum and the candidate will be either a Chartered member of a professional institution or about to become a Chartered professional.

A full UK driving license is essential as there will be the need to travel within the UK, with occasional stop overs.
