Our client is an established planning consultancy, with recent substantial growth both organically and via a key acquisition. The organisation has a solid reputation in the industry for delivering residential through mixed use and commercial applications together with additional service lines from environmental and landscape architecture.  Over recent years, they have earned a referenceable track record in both leading and advising a number of DCO applications within the transport and energy sector, a market in which they are now well positioned to capitalise on.  The directors believe their success in this and other areas is due to the quality of their staff, and they are now in the position to acquire more senior staff from the market to help shape the business and share in their success.  Expressions of interest are welcomed by individuals who wish to investigate a senior role in an established consultancy who are at the beginning of a significant growth curve.   

Responsibilities would include;

• To help develop and implement a strategy to deliver growth for the region and contribute to the UK strategic plan
• Develop relationships with existing and new clients, delivering their full range of planning and support services
• Take responsibility for the efficient delivery of projects
• Team leadership, incorporating technical and commercial mentoring

It is envisaged that the successful candidates would;

• Possess the appropriate industry qualifications and status
• Have a track record of winning and delivering applications
• Have good connections and a profile within the industry
• Have the drive and aptitude to play a leading role in a developing business

Expressions of interest would be especially welcomed by individuals based in the south east and in the north west of the UK.  Particularly interest would be welcomed from any individuals based anywhere in the UK who are familiar with the DCO process and have a desire to develop this area of business in the future.  In return a competitive salary would be provided together with an opportunity to become a senior player in an organisation which is currently focussed on succession planning at a senior level.
