Jacobs wins French gas storage contract
Fresh from having announced a contract with Centrica to develop an underground gas storage facility in Yorkshire (Environment-Analyst 26-May-09), Jacobs has won work with Storenergy, to expand an existing facility in Etrez, France and in the process to “reduce impacts to the environment”. Four salt caverns will be added to an existing 17 caverns used for gas storage. The work will take place over three years.
